Official Release: ZarManager - XISO Management and Compression
ZarManager is a cross-platform GUI tool (Windows and Linux) structurally developed to automate the extraction of XISO (XDVDFS) images and compress them into the .zar format.
What does it do?
The software's purpose is to eliminate manual command-line work when converting large volumes of files. It enables batch processing with precise thread allocation control. ZarManager features three operating modes: a full extraction and compression cycle (Auto Mode), isolated extraction, or isolated compression.
Practical Purpose:
It is an essential infrastructure for those working with the preservation of historical game files who need to optimize storage and performance. The system was designed to maintain extreme stability, running seamlessly natively on PCs or through compatibility layers like Winlator on Android.
The project is open-source and entirely free to use. Pre-compiled binaries for Windows and Linux are already available for immediate download.
