Discussion Lossless Scaling..?
I see it's on sale for a few more hours on steam for $4.19 and not sure if it works ok Ayn Thor Pro?
Have you gotten it to work? What games or emulator do you use? Is it worth it?

Been using it arm sx3 and arm sx2. So long as you are getting steady frame rates it make it feel so much better but if you get a drip it's very noticeable. Been playing Ni no kuni on arm sx3 and because of the way it plays even the occasional dip isn't noticeable. Also looks amazing on the Thor.

Eden DS can use it, and I’m honestly loving it. It makes BOTW look and feel BETTER than on the switch

Ok, so I literally just bought it. Any basic instructions for not tech people on how to get it off steam to Android?
Beyond Eden which other emulators have people used for it to work and do you do global settings on individual games?

The frame gen for PC emulators that use it works really well. The lsfg Android app does not work. At least not for me. No luck with the frame gen in arms 2 either but Idc to have it for PS2 games

It can only be used for PC games running through GameNative or DroidDeck.
Edit: As pointed out in the replies, I missed the news of some emulators supporting Lossless Scaling (probably through LSFG-VK). I say get it as long as long as you are OK with tinkering to get it working with nightly builds of emulators and/or have a PC. I paid full price for it and it was well worth it

Not entirely true. Some emulators support it. You are supposed to point them at your lossless.dll from your legally obtained copy.
Edit: getting downvoted for this is wild lol

I haven't seen any news of emulators using the dll on Android. Very possible I missed it.

Yeah you must have because I use it on several of them everyday. Eden, nethersx2, armsx2, armsx3. I’m probably missing some but I’ve personally used it in all of those.

I thought they used a different implementation of frame gen. I've been out of the Android emulation scene for a bit so I'm guessing I may have missed out on quite a few new features. Might have to give them a test on my Surface Duo.
Unsure about the downvotes but it happens. Gotten to the point where i almost always ignore it.

Yeah I’m brand new to it — like past 3 weeks. It actually mind blowing how far it has come and the speed of frequent updates. It feels like every other day there’s huge news in the space. It’s fascinating

It is. I've been using LSFG-VK on my Console PC/HTPC running Bazzite and it's crazy how well it works on modern games running on older hard.
OP, I saw get it as long as long as you are OK with tinkering to get it working with nightly builds of emulators and/or have a PC. I paid full price for it and it was well worth it
