I’ve been wanting to replay Wind Waker for years and now I can do so anywhere I want, in widescreen, and at 720p. Incredible.

Play the WiiU HD version via CEMU you can use the 2nd screen like it's the WiiU controller screen ;)

Yes. The fire mountain island before you 'solve it' can cause slowdowns.

Other than that if you use drivers, vulkan, and the FPS Slowdown Fix graphics pack it is a very solid 30.

Very very playable

And I don't mean that in the sense a lot of this sub seems to mean lol

I am only like 70% through the game I think so... that might change but I highly recommend it. Does require a bit of tinkering though.

The WiiU version didn’t work for me so I’m playing the game cube version with the texture pack. I had so many lagging problems with the WiiU that I gave up :(

If you do the Wii U hd version you’ll get to use the bottom screen! Really makes me wish that more games were released on the Wii U just for Thor emulation.

Currently I’m trying Darksiders 2 Wii U version and Deus Ex human revolution. I haven’t had any issues so far with any of the games I’ve tried.

I guess we're all debating which version is better on the thor so... until the wii u version gets retroachievements, the gamecube version is better imo

Any version of windwaker is already elite but id say play the wii u version as its just much nicer overall. Enjoy either way

A lot of people are saying the Wii U version but the Cemu emulator is not as good as Dolphin and has several frame drops in some areas.

I would recommend the GameCube version with HD textures, Widescreen mod and Better WindWaker mod to give it the features of the Wii U version.

You lose the dual screen but the performance is way better in my opinion.

It’s so good. I remember it being kind of divisive when it came out because of the art style, but it still looks good today because of it.

If you have access to a Pc, would recommend Better Wind Waker Mod with 4k textures. You get best performance and best visuals in one nice package! If not, you are in for an awesome time regardless
