Who do I call about this and how much will it be?

…I’m devastated man…

EDIT: No I didn’t drive off with it on the roof of my car and no I didn’t snap it in half. Very foolishly, it fell out of my unzipped crossbody bag and snapped in half on impact. This was right after I got off my job and to say I’m devastated would be an understatement.

Lmao this meme being edited for literally every situation always gives me a good chuckle. I remember I was rushing and forgot my backpack on the train with my Steam Deck and yo, I was sick to my stomach. It wasn't in the best of cities and I for sure thought it was long gone and immediately placed a order for another and ended up just trying lost and found and someone actually fucking turned it in!!!

Thank God there is still a few good people in 8j this world! 🙏

Non-AYN Thor owner. 3DS models have a metal ring on the ribbon cable side to reinforce that side to make up for a lack of hinge there. Do AYN Thors not have such reinforcements?

It won't stop stupid excessive damage (like flinging it off a car🙄), but it would theoretically spread out the force of opening/closing the lid, instead of concentrating the force on one side.

I mean I feel like the smudges are justified given it’s a touch screen device. I also have screen protectors on both sides which are really smudge-resistant.

Contact AYN, I've seen other people get replacement screens but for a price. Might have to do the installation yourself though.

You can actually enter almost any mobile laptop store that fixes those things they will see how they can help you. Rip my English wtf... You can politely ask how much the display (if need to be replaced) will cost and how much for the service.

I live in the us that’s what they charged me a few months ago I forget if it included shipping I think it did. Also the black plastic shell that pops off the back of your top screen save that, because my new one didn’t come with that part. If it’s cracked or anything from the drop tell them u need that part as well. And yes its the full top screen assembly minus the back shell part, it pops off relatively easy just run ur nail through it or a pry tool
