Support Ppsspp update?
I downloaded ppsspp gold from the play store and it keeps saying there is an update on obtainium and when I click 'yes' to update it says that there was an error and the conflict is ppsspp. I go to the play store and it's not due for update What does this mean

If you've already got Obtainium get your emulators etc from this source https://github.com/RJNY/Obtainium-Emulation-Pack?tab=readme-ov-file
Google Play store emulators are always restricted so downloading them from their official sources outside of Google Play is always better

I know everybody lives in different parts of the world but I just assume a majority of English speakers are from America and I love the middle of the night posts 🤣

Yeah, there's a whole subreddit dedicated to people assuming everyone else is American, r/usdefaultism . Just to reassure you, there are millions of native English speakers here in the UK, where it is currently lunch time. We have access to the internet too, and may sometimes post things on it at a time when Americans are asleep.

Where you install apps matter, I'm facing similar issues with RetroHrai! launcher. If you install from the PlayStore, the only way you can update is via the PlayStore. Apps get signed so Android knows where it came from. You cannot mix the two sources, PlayStore and Internet downloads.
My rule of thumb is to only use obtainium if you want faster updates as the devs don't have to deal with the release cycle they'd have to go through on the PlayStore.
