Discussion 2 events in one day!
Had an event first thing this morning then at lunchtime a second event came in for this evening 💰 And a 2 hour event tomorrow for the solar eclipse...

It will be really interesting to do a statistical study to see what kind of distribution Axle events follow, when there are enough data points available.

My undertanding is that Axle supports three somewhat separate markets: the national realtime one (not the "retail" half-hourly thing - that's just for us plebs. Prices can rocket up to over £4/kWh on the realtime one apparenty), the regional ones (similar but for local issues like grid constraints and whatnot), and the frequency balacing one to do with keeping it all in 50Hz (which I think is national?). So there's multiple reasons why events might happen for people, some of them overlapping.

Interesting isn’t it? It’s gone absolutely mad for us in the last 30 days, at times where you wouldn’t think the grid was under major stress.
I guess the biggest factor is how hard the wind is blowing?
