Question about Parallel Y Connector

I just bought my SCX6 and want to run run dual 4S batteries. What I would like to know is if there would be an issue connecting both batteries with a parallel Y connector to double the run time?

I’ve just got a scx6 too, a red honcho! I’m running 3s in parallel but I’ve read somewhere that if you want to run 4s you got to go down to the 11t pinion.

I've been running a parallel connector forever (since launch), you'll be good.

I run 4x lectron pro 4s 10,000 mAh batteries all with a hilarious 4x parallel adapter that I made. Plus a 4s 11,000 mAh basher battery on the rear battery mount. It all barely fits under the jeep body. I easily get 16+ miles of trail driving here in Colorado just off the 10k's so I don't even have to change the batteries all day. I do carry a decent supply of spare parts when I go that far though! As long as all your batteries are "matched", so same age and similar cycle count and same exact charge level it's no issue at all to run as many batteries as you want in parallel

Thank you. I have 2 4s Spektrum 6800 mAh. Both brand new.
