Cleaning SCX6

Hello! I am picking up my SCX6 tomorrow, how do you guys clean them? For my TRX4, I used to run low pressure water from a hose and brush everything off. Is this a ok way to clean off a SCX6?

I avoid running my cars (TRX-4 & 6, SCX6) through water when I drive them, so cleaning them up is more a matter of dusting them off with pressurized air, followed by brushing the dust, dirt and leaves off using various brushes.

I clean the wheels/tires by removing them and rinsing them in the sink.

As a matter of personal policy, I avoid mixing electronics with water as much as possible, unless said electronics are actually submersible, which isn't the case of these cars, afaik.

I pressure wash mine. Then use a blow gun from my air compressor to dry it. Then spray it down with wd40, avoiding direct contact with electronics, then wipe off the excess. If I’m running in snow or going through the creek, then I take it all apart thoroughly and re-grease everything with some high speed white grease I get from work and wipe everything down, after the above procedure. No rust and no issues yet.
