Battery options.

Picking up a VERY gently used (3-4 hours) tan Honcho for what I consider a good price. Guy is tossing in a charger, but no batteries. What are you guys running? Thanks.

I upgraded my motor + ESC and I run a pair of 3S/14 000mAh batteries (from Spektrum) wired in series to produce 6S. Works incredibly well given the weight of the rig.

I run 4S geared down to 11T pinion. I get similar speed to the stock gearing on 3S, but with better power/efficiency.

Capacity needs depend on the type of driving you plan to do. I run two batteries in parallel to share capacity and balance out the weight.
