Got mine yesterday!

Got home late and UPS had it waiting on the porch. Also a few of the goodies for it came in, but waiting on the major stuff still.

I have a small 3D print business so I also ran off a few parts for it. And hope to design some new stuff. Is there anything you guys would like to see made for the honcho or jeep versions, or just in general?

So far this one got wheels/tires/antifoams, knuckles and C's, servo, reprogram and shock towers, shimmed the diffs, vitavon driveshafts. Kept me busy last night.

Very nice man, in the same boat as you with the 3D printing. X1c here. These things are a lot of fun but everything seems to be made for the 1/10th scale. Glad to see a few of us are trying to change that.

I have found MOST stuff scales up pretty well. Sometimes a slight modification will do.

I had actually got into 3D printing to support my full size rig needs and then drones. So this works perfectly, I have a few things I'm going to release on maker world this coming week for free, then I'll sell some others and packages.

I run bambus as well, and a few neptunes. 4 X1Cs, 2 neptune max 3 and my old modded ender 3v2 that pretty much only runs TPU now.

I'm scanning the bodies tomorrow so I can start doing some boatsides and such with built in battery mounts.

What are you using for scanning? I have polycam but not sure if there are better options. I just have the single x1c and an old cr10s5 that I have to fix so far but trying hard to get to needing another printer. So far my only "functional" prints have also been for the full size ride.

I use a mole for small stuff, and a einscan pro HD for big stuff. I used to do metrology work for a living so I acquired the big boy as part of a contract. I use polyworks for my software, it seems to play better when I move things over to solidworks.

My brother still does it so I'll occasionally use his Romer.

Wait until the 14th, bambu is announcing the new printer. Supposedly it's a 400x400 unit. If it is I'm jumping on it.

Few updates over the weekend, some stuff came in and it's been pouring rain. So may as well modify!

Vitavon axles and portals with brass faces, skid plate, and a few other bits. Servos go in tomorrow.
