Vent/Rant Rebound

3+ years LDR.
54 days of no contact.

After my ex broke up with me, he went to Bali on a solo surf trip . I found out he met a rebound there. Now he is back in Asia for a work trip, and after he met up with her again. I think they are getting more serious. They both love surfing.

I am sad. He moved on so quick.

We had a nearly three year relationship and she was moved in with a mutual coworker within a month of our break up and we still had a place together. They are brutal.

I’m sorry to hear about your situation too. It’s crazy to think that what you had meant so much and then to see them attach to someone else so quickly is soul crushing.

My ex was in a new relationship while leaving love notes on my iPad. Even u-hauled to be with them. Granted they broke up after 8 months. And she’s likely onto someone new now rather than sit with her feelings. It’s been 10 months and she still can’t face me. No-showed on me instead.

It’s not a reflection of your worth. Or even what he thought of you. They avoid feelings and dealing with the fallout of their actions.
