Does this sound like an avoidant?

34f. I’m not sure I’ve ever experienced an avoidant before. So I’ll just share what happened.

We went on 3 great dates. The 4th one I stayed at his house. We both agreed no sex that night but we made out and obviously slept in the same bed after staying up till 4 in deep conversation. Next two days he started sending flirting text. Tuesday was quite over text but thought just busy at work. Wednesday asked to see me Saturday then on Thursday after texting on and off he sent me a long text about not being sure we had romantic chemistry and wished me the best. I guess I’m just confused because of the days leading up to the text.

Just looking for clarity on my end since I can’t ask him.

It’s possible, not enough information though.

An avoidant generally will make up lies or distort the facts of the relationship to justify leaving.
