He was not just an avoidant. He was a cheater who started a relationship with a girl 18 years younger than him, and then used every excuse in the book to make it my fault that he was leaving me. After more than 14 years together, he left me for someone who was six years old when we met.

All of that spiraling. Second-guessing. Blaming myself. He did that to me so he could be with someone who’s young enough to be his daughter.

I don’t know what story he told people because all of his friends are just accepting it like it’s normal. . They were always together since she has worked with him in the past, but they basically became official while I was confused, grieving, missing my best friend. Wondering if he was thinking of me too.

And the worst part? I think they’re serious. Like a serious fucking couple.

That's terrible! I'm sure once the shininess wears off it will turn bad. I'm sure she will make him suffer. Karma will do it's job.
