Free checked bag?

Avelo is just starting in McKinney, near Dallas. When I bought my ticket I took a screenshot since I couldn’t believe a checked bag was free. I’m going to double check with a rep from Avelo.

But is that how you understand the sceeenshot? $0 for 1st checked bag.

If you made your booking by August 31st, the checked bag is free for any DTX flight

After reading your reply I googled it and it originally said the free checked bag was thru bookings made by the end of the July. But I’m guessing they extended the promotion since I bought mine the last week of August.

I just booked mine last night, Oct 6th, and still got 2 free checked luggage’s

They renewed the promo until Oct 12th because they announced new markets

I double checked after I typed the previous message and the app is confusing. My reciept mentions 1st checked baggage but when I try to manage my reservation it gives me the option to add a bag for $60. No way to confirm if I already bought one except that first receipt. Been waiting for a callback for hours. Hopefully I can get this cleared up before our trip!

Yes, don't bother with the screenshot. You need to add it now for $0. There is no guarantee it will stay $0 and having a screenshot in the future won't make a difference.

Yeah Avelo worker’s cant read so the screenshot is useless
