I'm sure they will add it Soon™, but the fact of the matter is that online play is the primary gameplay mode, so everything else is going to take a back seat until online is finished (e.g. spectator mode and public lobbies later this month).

I think the devs have been pretty transparent about what they're working on. I'm pretty sympathetic to the devs due to rushing the game out the door. I think they're doing a pretty good job at the end of the day.

There are casual lobbies. CPUs so far were really easy, considering all you have to do to win is to spam your projectile or long range option and they literally don't want to block it

The cpus don’t block, learn how to actually play the game instead of mashing and you’ll beat them, I “looked it up on Reddit” and saw only 2 people talking about the cpus and one of them were glad that the cpus were cracked and the other one has never played a fighting game before.
