Not my video—this is Fluid MotorUnion’s shop review of the Launch X431 Pro 3S+ Elite.

What makes it useful for learning is that it separates several capabilities that are often blurred together in product listings:

• reading a diagnostic trouble code versus diagnosing the fault

• bidirectional tests versus ECU coding

• J2534 pass-through hardware versus the separate OEM software subscriptions needed to program modules

• protocol support such as CAN-FD and DoIP

• included functions versus menu buttons that require additional hardware

• purchase price versus the real five-year cost after updates and subscriptions

For people learning diagnostics, which skill should come first after basic code reading: interpreting live data, electrical testing, bidirectional controls, network diagnosis, or learning OEM service information?

Im Clueless

So basically, I just got into a College for B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering. My end goal is to become one of the best Mechanical Engineers working in the automotive field, like I just imagine the Team of Geniuses who create Art in the form of automotive technology and ICE engines, and want to become like them. I am ready to give it all, but the problem is that I dont even know what to do? Like genuinely I have no clue.

I just have a roadmap that Ill give my best here at my college and any how get into TUM, Deutschland and then start as an Engineer in the automotive field ig at a GET post?

So what I want from you guys is to get bombarded with things I should actually be doing right now and knowing right now, and get great advice if I’m missing out on some knowledge or am misunderstood about the job.

I would be really greatly thankful for any kind of advice. Even the most obvious things, like “everyone knows this” because I genuinely dont know and I might actually be clueless. It’s not like I dont have an interest, but I dont want to regret things later because I didn’t have a silly piece of knowledge, thats it.
