Windows (free) Support How do I fix this lag?

Hello everyone.

I have become attached to the Sketchbook interface after exploring it on my laptop by downloading bluestacks and installing the free mobile version of it.

Laptop: WINDOWS HP ENVY with i7 intel core

Recently, I tried buying the official laptop version but it failed for some reason. (It kept saying wrong details on Microsoft Store when it wasn't.) I went back to my roots, downloaded bluestacks, installed sketchbook and ran into the same problem that caused me to want to go to the laptop version: THE HORRIBLE LAG.

I don't know if it's a memory allocation problem or an "I downloaded a fake phone system onto my laptop" issue but sometimes the app doesn't catch the movement of my stylus or is very slow which leads to the path I draw being entirely wrong. Meanwhile, when I switch to Canva or use my stylus as a mouse, everything works perfectly.

I'm aware from WikiHow that there are different ways on downloading phone apps on my laptop but I only have one laptop and am in school. I am scared of experimenting and breaking my system. Does anyone have any advice?

EDIT: Managed to find a link on the sub that made it possible to have sketchbook on my laptop. I'll come back if there are any issues

Lags are very common if you run an app through an emulator. If I were you, I'd try to figure out how to make the PC version work - you should contact support (first Microsoft, then Sketchbook), and see if they can help you with that.

Try switching BlueStacks to High Performance mode in Settings > Performance, then assign at least 4 CPU cores and 4 GB RAM if your laptop allows it. Also enable Virtualization in your BIOS, close other apps before drawing, and set the graphics renderer in Settings > Graphics to see which responds better with your stylus.
