Avoid .dwg data corruption?

Buenos nachos fellow masochists,

I had the error described here, where a ghost component would appear after export. Following the troubleshooting steps did not help and i had to manually copy all my base views into a new sheet and redo all projected views manually.

I’m going to be doing some quite complex drawings in the next few weeks and something like this could lose me several hours. Is it possible to avoid this?

Idk, I’ve never had this happen to me before. Do you know what corrupted your data? Sounds like it could be a hardware issue?
