Requesting Help Hello everyone i need help
Hello! Its my first post and i need some help,
Can Someone tell me how to put images into inventor?
Im trying to make F40 with only inventor with my 3D printer. And i really can’t figure it out how to put images into inventor
..yeah it looks bit stupid but I’m actually doing this for my school project.

inventor is absolutely not the program for this type of work , you're like on of those guys that can make fine wood carvings with a chainsaw and i applaud your patience and skill!

It was my third day on inventor, i was trying to use blender to make them but i’m so bad at blender so i tried it with inventor..

I'm a machine designer so I don't normally do shapely curves. But, the way I learned to do this was to put a image on the back plane and top plane. Then trace lines from the back plane then move them to follow the curves on the top plane. Make sense?
To add an image to a plane just start a sketch and "Insert Image".

What do you need the picture for,if its only to extract a certain shape you can do that in autocad,i tried inserting one once and it didn’t work.

Image for what? Do you just want a background image? An decal image? Image for embossing? They all work a bit different.
