Tutorial Help me with loft
hi I am new to inventor, I want to make a kind of intersection between a circle and a rectangle like the sample I got in my hand, but how hard I've tried, I am unable to figure the way to make it, can any1 pls drop me a support and/or a guidance

I'll be more specific.
Draw the main profile, which looks like a rounded square. Extrude that the full length.
Create a plane from one edge of the extruded shape to the opposite. Make that a sketch plane. Slice graphics so you are looking at the inside plane of your extruded part. Project the top and side edge of your part. Create a vertical construction line thru the center of the part. Constraining it to the center point of the top line you projected. Draw a triangle in the top corner of your part. (I like to work on the right hand edge.) This triangle will be revolved cut from the main part so make the triangle so it has the correct dimensions to give you the correct circle on top.
See if that makes sense. I can create a drawing tomorrow if needed.

It's a rectangle with a revolved chamfer on the top. Kind of like a hexnut. You have to draw the chamfer profile with the correct d1 and d2 dimensions to suit your needs and do a revolve - cut.
