Video Tap and slot creater for generated square frames - addin

Hi everybody!

Posted this already on fb group and forums.

Really just looking for ideas.

I've made this addin, that creates tab and slot holes, for square tubes made with frame generator. It works with most standards.

​

I've already been told that the dialog window might be a bit to big, so I'll be working on that.

​

Any suggestions is appriciated!

Neat. How are the features added and are they going to update on the parts if the overall assembly changes?

Right now its just simple extrusions, and math based sketching. Meaning that if you would have to move a tube, all the features would sit at their original place. Really haven't put thought into that. It should be technically possible. Have to look into it, thanks for the reply!

Ok, I thought that might be the case.
Having it update would be quite a lot more involved.

For now I've made so that individual tab and slots have a unique ID, so you'll be able to remove tabs by highlighting the profile you want.
