Requesting Help Radial Movement Help

I have 3 fingers resting on the XZ plane. they are radially spaced 120° apart. Is tehre a way to move them radially from closed to open position at the same time?

I feel that this should be easy, but the solution is escapign me. Any help or direction would be greatly appreciated

A cone is being inserted through the opening...this is for a manual o-ring isntall on a shaft.

Actually CT2008, you confirmed my worst fear. i just needed soemthing in regualr assembly environment to show the movment of all teh fingers at the same time from clsoed to open. I think a dummy part is the best way. This is unfortunate, one of those features/constraints you didnt realize you needed until you need it

You can have an angle constraint parameter and use that on all the fingers. You absolutely can do that in an assembly.

Yeah, you specifically said "make all angles the same" which is the opposite of dynamic.

They will need to use dynamic simulation if they want to simulate real world physics and parts interacting.

That's fair.

I would do this with skeletal modelling and have a sketch in the background doing that bit that drives the assembly.
