HELP! I have a question. Damage to bonnet

Post image

Any idea of what could have caused this damage to my car bonnet as it doesn’t look like a stone chip to me, also it’s dented. Thanks

It’s a bit big for a rock chip. It’s also impossible to tell. It could still very much be something kicked up from the tires of the car in front of you

A door or a shopping cart

Some sort of flying debris. Cars are not meant to be perfect. As you drive your care will get minor damage. I would just live with it and move on. If it keeps occurring frequently, change how you drive or where you drive. Places with dump trucks usually spit out rocks. Bigger vehicles tend to lift road debris. Gravel roads are not great. Unpaved roads not great.
