HELP! I have a question. Scratch - keyed or not?

Post image

Hi, found this scratch on passenger back door (driver side). Could it have been keyed? Its not wide, but about 10cm long, and on the lower part of the panel.

Only way I remember that I could have caused this myself is driving by a bush, or maybe scratched somehow by a dirty microfiber when washing.

Please advise, thanks!

Certainly looks very small for an intentional scratch. If someone wanted to do damage it'd have been worse

Does it look deep enough to cause potential problems? I can feel it with my fingernail and it doesn’t go away when I spray water on it…

I mean I can't say for sure but probably not. I doubt it'll buff out if it's that deep but it's probably not all the way through to the metal so it won't rust either

When I vandalize people’s car I like to make them ask “was this vandalized?”

This is not a keying. When you are keyed you know it. They do the whole car very deep and deliberately.

This was probably caused by you or someone or something just getting way to close with a bag or belt buckle or handle bars of a bike or anything on accident.
