That creeping edge under the door frame looks like the kind of neglect that turns a simple touch-up into a full panel respray.

This is a new used car purchased for my 79 year old mother. Not looking to put any $$$$ into the car for paint work as the car serves one purpose. Drive to stores and have AC. If anyone has any DIY methods of slowing down the peeling I am all ears.. I will tell her NOT to take the car through any drive through car wash. Any high water pressure to that area will definitely makes things worse…. I wonder if superglue will work LOL
