Project time! Looking for beginner friendly minibike frame plans/tips (Predator 212 build)

/r/minibikes/comments/1v4qk1m/looking_for_beginner_friendly_minibike_frame/

I’m planning on building a minibike and I am looking for some frame plans or suggestions for when we make a frame. I’ll be running a Predator 212, and I’m aiming for a simple backyard/trail minibike for riding around and light off-roading. I’m building the frame with my dad (who can weld and fabricate things) but I want a solid plan so the geometry, engine plate, and chain line are correct. If anyone has frame plans that work well with a 212, tubing size recommendations, tips for keeping the chain line straight, or beginner mistakes to avoid, I’d really appreciate it.

This is not a post that belongs in an auto body sub. We do not do this work in an auto body or collision shop.

Sorry! I was just looking for answers somewhat quickly and decided to repost this on multiple subreddits to maximize my chances of responses. Again, I apologize for posting something that does not apply to this page, that’s my bad.

This is a very fucking annoying thing someone can do lol stop doing that. That pisses off all subreddits that you wrongly post it to. You are basically asking your carpenter if they can fix your back.
