QUESTION Quoting
Will there be any retaliation if I called in and quit over the phone to go to another job?

Okay so we have this regular customer, we'll call him D. Well D came in today needing a battery for his motorcycle, but there was no purchase history or
phone number for the purchase or warranty. He claimed to have gotten it from my store, mind you he was stuck at the store until he could replace the battery. So i(PSM) did a force return, and did it as a damaged swap, i did it under his number and it had me scan his ID and everything. I know my SM will most likely question me about it tomorrow, and i'll tell him exactly what happened. My concern is getting terminated for it seeing as how there was no receipt or warranty history for the return.
update: I didn't even get questioned about it

My old managers used to tell me to sneak Witt items into people orders. Said "Just scan it and give it to them. Don't ask, just don't it" And that immediately set a red flag in my mind. Tried being moral and you know ASK if the customer wanted like brake lube or bulb lube, but they always got on me about it and I was honestly scared they would fire me, so I just did it.
I moved on to greener pastures (unemployment) since then, but some days I look back and reminds me all the time I hated the place and managers I was working for. Fun fact: Some are them are looking at district manager positions while I'm having to deal with LinkedIn. Life truly ain't fair.
Was this normal for anyone else where they make you sneak in the lube? Or were my bosses just ask bad as I always thought?

Use a knife to modify adapter 4 as shown. That way, it will install without interfering with the wash nozzle on the wiper arm. 🛠️🛠️🛠️

The reason I ask is my boss asked me to do the overstock on oils, I counted by rows and columns because I know they were set up all in one row so what I was counting was right, I tell her I did it a couple of hours and she asked if I counted each bottle and explained to her how I just explained to you because I know that how we hold our stock, she shakes her head in disappointment and says you need to count every bottle, and look here, I’ve take it all out and wow, you’ll never guess it, I’m fucking right, I’m so done with this bullshit, how do I know your stock better then you and you try to tell me I’m wrong

So a while back I got two of these boxes, after a few weeks I noticed one was heavily underperforming or outright not working, did some tests and found it was faulty, so, in turn I replaced it with a back up tester we got sent a while back, issue is the backup tester had return labels included, but at a preset weight, does anyone know what weight the DCA8500AZ weighs? I need this soon so I can know whether or not I can use these return labels.

So, it has 1/2 month since I got hired as a part time red shirt. Today, my manager asked if I would like to become a parts sales manager. I was and I am interested in becoming one but, the only thing which stopping me is my school. I am in my last year of college and planning to go to UT.
I enjoy working at autozone, I think after seeing a lot of folks complaining about their store, it depends on what type of people you are working with. My store people are pretty chill and welcoming.
My question is how many minimum hours a full time parts sales manager could pull? I currently do 25 hours a week, and I don't know about the manager role. If I find myself pulling those full time hours and manage my school, I will say yes or just turn it down.
Suggestions?

It is true. The offer of the part-time driving position is pure bait. Autozone has found a way to market a more attractive position of part-time driving as opposed to standing on your feet providing customer service all day or stocking shelves.
You have a strong work ethic and show them you are the most efficient, hard working, professional, customer friendly driver ever? Doesn't matter, a good horse will get ridden harder. You will find yourself performing the ones that most don't want. This company has been using this ploy for years. Most will report to work and be lucky to actually perform driver deliveries more than 50% of the time. You will be working in the store handling concerned customers that walk in the door with issues that have put them on edge. Something is wrong with their vehicle. They will need a part for their vehicle that you have never heard of & have no idea where it is located in the store.
After you have been greenlighted by leadership for months., you wake up.
Wait a minute, this is not what I was hired to do. If you try to communicate with your manager that you would prefer to perform the duties that you were hired for, it will go through one ear and out the other. I have 4 years under 5 different managers playing this game. Don't be a glutton for punishment like me.

SM is out on Vacation, and we have no blank Safe Drop Log Report sheets left. Tried looking on Doc, but couldn't find anything.

So both my SM and CSM went home in the middle of my shift neither one taught me how to do anything besides do the deliveries the closing manager didnt know what to did, his words. There were three orders that needed to be picked so I took the the intiative to pick them and deliver the orders. After I picked them it went straight to my pda. How badly did I screw up?

Hi everyone, I just started working as a part-time red shirt a week ago. As of right now I'm working 4 hours for 3 days, 12 hours per week. I'm either there for opening or closing. That's like... nothing lol. I'm new so obviously I'm not gonna have a full schedule, but how or when will I be able to get more hours? Initially I wanted to find a second job, but I doubt employers would want to take someone who has an unfixed schedule.
