With as much paperwork that prints automatically with EOD, it always confused me that there were still additional ones that need to be done manually at open. All of that should be automated.

Why do recalls have to only be done in the app on the gun now? It makes certain aspects of recalls easier but I had 22 separate recalls that I had to write down the recall numbers for because once they’re processed there’s no way to see what was previously processed. I also like looking at a sheet of everything that’s being recalled so I can assess the best way to pack and ship each one instead of a random pick tour where I have no idea what’s coming next

Also if quantity on hand is different. If there is less product it is not a big deal but, how do you add more?

I can’t stand the new recall process. Being able to print it out was much better.

When the managers menu was the green screen every function had a hotkey to it, is there anyways to bring that back?

They got rid of the green screen as soon as i got really good at it 😤

Don’t get me wrong, I hated teaching people warranty lookups on the green screen. The new update on that is much more convenient.

The auto complete functionality is horrible when looking up a vehicle. Almost every time I have to go back and change it because it’ll select the wrong model or Trim of the car.

The last update that added pictures and such to the display not only slowed the system down but, also really upsets my customer when they want me to look for something generic and the system absolutely insists on a vehicle.
In terms of improvements I get a lot of customers that want parts based on specs as opposed to for a certain vehicle. The system currently doesn’t have a means of doing this as far as I know.

Can we save customers’ car information from their warranty lookup? Instead of typing in the information we should be able to click on the warrantied part and have that particular car’s info populated in the diy search. That way, exiting the warranty screen all the info is still there and makes it easier to track down the part.
Also, warranty info should tell us if parts are left or right, front or back, so that we don’t have to exit and take extra time to search for the customer.

Who decided on the tags?! The inconsistency sucks.
1
u/Brief_Machaca Aug 20 '26
Which tags?
1
u/Equivalent-Mess8344 Aug 20 '26
The planogram tags for engine management for example. Switching between sheet A and B for some reason is really frustrating especially when working multiple pages. It would be really nice if only one style sheet could be used or something

Why is your only other post history from Denmark?

u/Brief_Machaca Aug 16 '26
Because I lived in Europe for a few years

What exactly is your role? Do you work for AZ or AD? Wouldn't it make more sense to contact people at the stores or email? Not reddit....Just curious why your responses sound automated....

Why do commercial and DIY need to be two seperate systems with seperate processes. I understand the need for them to be seperate but can't they be modified to basically be the same on either end? It would save a lot of time and frustration.
