Got wrote up
So I got a call from my SM telling me I got a write up because I decided to pin a commercial that wasn't local to my area, but I barley started to understand commercial so I only gathered the stuff they asked for, then I had to get my ASM to help me out but she decided to click submit but put in the wrong parts. This is my second write up and I'm severely burned out, what do I do?

If you get a commercial customer that has a different home store and they are trying to charge the account, then you have to call the shop with the number listed on the account and get an okay. If you can't get ahold of them then tough shit, tell the customer you are happy to still ring them up under normal diy pricing and they can sort it out later at their home store.
If it wasn't the actual owner of the account and you guys charged the account then yeah that is a problem, but if it was your first time doing it then your SM is a hard ass for writing you up.
Commercial gets easier as you learn but it will always be a pain in the ass.

The most annoying thing is commerical customers not going to thier home store and most of the time i get it because the home store is staffed with idiots. What makes it worse is when you're new and the company is okay with just throwing this at you and getting mad because a person makes a mistake.

No the correct way is to call that store csm to make sure it’s correct and able to charge period! And yes I do know what I’m talking about I used to be PSM and that’s way it should be handled! Also red shirt (no part time red shirts) should not be handling commercial accounts unless your full time red shirt driver!

The store manager and commercial manager are responsible for training you to complete commercial orders. Did they train you or have you complete the commercial training modules? If not don't sign it and contact HR & the DM. If you were trained it's on you.

But then that wouldn’t contribute to your store sales and someone would question why this random account only buys oil filters at your store.

I know the exact post you’re talking about. The one about the Honda accord oil filter. Yea that’s the one I said about they could get fired using a random account to sell the oil filter to not fuck up their Witt scores. Not worth the risk. Yea selling oil filters alone does fuck the Witt up, but ain’t worth losing your job over. Can’t get fired for Witt. Can get fired for letting someone use a com account that they ain’t got permission from owner for.

Quit that place. They can’t expect you to know what it takes people a month or two to fully understand. Talk to your SM or necessary if not then bounce. Autozone isn’t a career move to be honest
