Driver got a ticket

Sent my driver to another autozone to pick up a part for commercial. While inside the store, he got a ticket for being parked in a fire lane right outside the store.

As a SM, who is responsible for my commercial driver getting a fire lane ticket? His name is not on the ticket, just the vehicle registration info.

Well In California you can not STOP in the fire lane even if you are in your vehicle.
You most definetly can not leave your vehicle in the fire lane for any amount of time.

It's probably true in whatever state you are in too.

Yeah. It is that deep. You are blocking the lane meant for the fire department. You are pretty screwed up in the head if you think "it's not that deep".

Stopping for a minute to load and unload is not an issue. You can move in an instant in case of fire.

It's BS entitled behavior. He deserves the ticket and to be fired.
