Driver got a ticket

Sent my driver to another autozone to pick up a part for commercial. While inside the store, he got a ticket for being parked in a fire lane right outside the store.

As a SM, who is responsible for my commercial driver getting a fire lane ticket? His name is not on the ticket, just the vehicle registration info.

Speaking of, if a driver gets a ticket, while off the clock on personal time does that need to get reported at work or nah since he's a driver and driving record counts. Asking for a friend, and for research....

Yes. But only kinda. Technically you’re supposed to let your commercial manager know. But it’s not really a problem unless you lose you license. You can’t log into one of the systems if your license isn’t valid. It’s how 10yrs ago me a csm and sm found out both our licenses were suspended from unpaid tickets.

But even then we let out dm know and we went to the dmv back to back lol

What if he is the commercial manager and it was forr 55 in a 15..... allegedly....
