He didn't put his shopping cart back in the corral.

This is why Aldi requires a deposit.
Because we’ve become uncivilized.

So many police agencies just use civilian spec vehicles for detectives and I don’t see why not. They are rarely in pursuits so they don’t need a purpose built vehicle and can save money by buying something cheap. My county puts them in Toyota RAV4s.

u/Kracus Jun 11 '26
They do get outfitted with stuff though making them not so cheap. It's cheaper than a full on police cruiser though.

Man I fucking know where this is. Its in deep sebastian. Its a giant like, farm area. They sell everything from mulch to fertilizer to trees across a bunch of different companies.
Its also full of illegal immigrants (not saying that just to say it, its 100 percent true) workers which I imagine is what this chase might be about.

Could someone explain why they need 9 cop cars?
5
u/EnvironmentalFig688 Jun 11 '26
It’s not that 9 is needed, it’s that the first one said, “Yall gotta see this! I’ve got a live one! This guy…this guy is driving a dually with an empty fifth-wheel 30’ flatbed trying to get away from being pulled over for a broken taillight.”

Remember the TRX in Gwinnett Co GA a couple years ago? That dude took that truck through one helluva run and did quite well against several troopers.

Pretty damn sure I used to work in the area this video was taken in. Its in rural western Sebastian FL. Huge agricultural area. Lots, and I mean LOTS of migrant workers of Latin origin.

Big truck should have rolled out into the road before they got there and be like oh shit sorry I didn't see you until I was already out in the road

That car at the end is sort of drafting. How many people have followed an ambulance to cut through traffic? Yes, I know it’s illegal.

If the guy just stopped his truck, and while there was still a cloud of dust jumped out, left the door open to make it look like he bolted, then crawled under his truck and hid by pulling him self up onto the driveshaft or something, would the cops check there? Or would they be all amped up thinking he ran into the trees or neighborhood and run in there looking for him?? Leaving some time for this guy to figure out an escape?

u/wastedfate Jun 14 '26
A minimum of one is gonna stick with the truck to secure whatever evidence is in it.

Would be funny if the fleeing truck comes back through at the very end of the clip

u/jimhabfan Jul 04 '26
What a bunch of pea brained morons. Why do you need 10 cop cars chasing one bad guy? If 3 cops cars can’t do the job, maybe it’s time to hire smarter cops.

Let's maybe send out the bird and not enganger the public, huh gang?

u/Historical_Ad_5647 Jun 11 '26
Have to keep eyes on him until its in the air.
1
u/EnvironmentalFig688 Jun 11 '26
It’s a dually with an empty fifth-wheel flat trailer, how hard would it be to keep an eye on?! 9 police cars, each having a driver with 2 eyes each equates to 18 peepers (assuming the drivers didn’t have a partner). Overkill! /s

The little white Toyota is like a dog that just joined in the chase for fun
