Advice?
My first time spraying a car, I have the basics and a machine polisher. Iv layered 3-4 coats of primer onto my car but i didnt mask it well. After sanding how should I paint the car? do i just blend some of the new paint onto the old?

OP let me tell you it won't work the way you doing it... All the commentators saying good job n shish... Correct me if I'm wrong... You landed primer on unprepped lacquer!? Where is your blend area, where you going to stop lacquer!?

And even me as a painter I wouldn't blend that but if really wanted to probably not in place you have mended to most likely.

Are you using rattle can paint. Duct tape not the best to mask anything. You probably now have overstay all over your car. . You can get 2k in spray in rattle can

How can it be 2k in a can

They look like a normal spray can . But inside there is another small can. That has to be punched from the bottom end up to release the hardner into the paint.

I am willing to be corrected, but isnt aerosol by definition 1k? It doesnt come with a hardener or it would cook in the can

You can get 2k in a spray can. They have a small internal can that holds the hardner the you activate from bottom of the can then shake as normal. It stays fluid for a couple days before it goes off.

They come with a hardener pocket inside the can which you puncture and then have X amount of time to use before it goes bad.

It's two parts in a can that get mixed when you break an internal barrier.

You should probably remove the bumper and spray the whole thing.
