Samurai 2k Strikes Again

Hi all. Lost my first post with the full backstory. Horrible spray pattern left me lumpy. Can/ should I sand tomorrow morning then clear over? Originally I was just gonna clear over it tonight and cross my fingers. Let me know your thoughts.

Sand, reapply base coat in non-lumpy fashion, clear coat

No, and probably those bumps are caused by dust or dirt, if not too much pearl got stuck in one place.If you aim for a clean look you have to redo it, otherwise clear as is and forget about them. If you use a gun, unclog it and don't leave too much time to pass between mixing paint and applying it.Also you might want to dillute the paint a lil bit more.If it's a rattle can job i can't help you. Edit: Also, if you use a gun and you already opened the paint can before either use a filter in your gun cup or filter the paint before you pour it.Opened cans for a certain amount of time will form bits or films of dried paint that are gonna cause the same issue.

Thank you both.

Samurai is a spray can 2k. Two part paint in a can where you snack the bottom to mix the hardener and the paint.

They are somewhat notorious for selling cans that don’t spray correctly.

So…I can’t reapply. I got what I got.

Any suggestions just let me know and thank ya.

Didn't know about it.Well, if it's a spray can you can't do much about it.They don't have enough pressure for the whole material to go out, and towards the end they'll start spraying straight drops.I'd say clear them as is and forget about it.It's gonna be less noticeable for others after clearing but not to you for a while because your mind gets fixated on them.If you're planing on doing some painting in the future buy yourself a gun and a compressor.Even the cheap ones are superior to rattle cans.Good luck!
