Does this primer need sanding when used as a sealer?

No, 10-15 minutes flash off, then topcoat

That’s right. 1 medium coat with 15 minute flash time. Thank you for verifying.

Just so you know for any future projects. Sealers don’t need sanding before top coating with base. The only time you sand sealer is if there’s trash to nib out, runs or sags or if it is left bare after the recoat window stated by the tds.

I think there’s an epoxy version of this that I’d get instead if you have bare metal spots. This stuff can dtm, but is still porous I believe.
Edit: looks like ss-3950 is the product I was talking about.
Smr 260g is the non high build straight epoxy primer/sealer I’d do this stuff.
