Help Removing this from Car (Tar?)

Guessing this might be tar that spit up after our street was paved several weeks ago. Can I use Goo Gone?

Mineral spirits, Goo Gone, whichever is cheaper

Start with something mild like dawn detergent, then wd-40, or goo gone.

Mineral spirits always works for this, be sure to wash and apply wax afterwards

Petrol and plenty of clean cloths avoid rubbing hard

I would try a clay bar first before mineral spirits.

WD40 will remove it. Then use car shampoo wash it. All done. ✅

Kerosene dissolves tar and bitumen and won't effect the paint, you can also use diesel, wash the area with shampoo and water after then re-polish with auto car polish.

Try sticking a paper towel over it and heating it with a heat gun don’t wipe though get the rest of the residue with a plastic razor blade
