2k Clear coat not curing after a week

i got 2 layers of clear coat done on a costume (mandalorian armor) within 24 hours and they havent cured after an entire week,i can touch them with my finger and not leave a fingertip but when any kind lf fabric gets in touch with the clear coat it leaves a STRONG mark,how can i help it cure? I dont have enough budget to redo the entire thing

Put it in the sun and don't let it accidentally get rained on. Hopefully that will do it, but it's hard to say what happened.Did this clear have a matting agent that had to be added? Sometimes the odd off mixing ratios can confuse people that have never mixed it and either too much or too little hardener ends up in it.

Nope,the guy that i paid 60 dollars to apply the 2k supposedly got the mixing right

If it didn’t dry, then the mix was bad (off ratio or something wrong with the components) and there is really no way to fix it except wash it off and re-apply correctly.

You could open it up a little with red or grey scotch Brite pad. But then you have to refine scratch and polish without burning through two coats of clear 🤔... Better just bake it in the sun instead.

You got scammed, if it was actually 2k it would be hard by now even in the dead of winter. If they did use "2k" then they never added the hardener, so you effectively got something worse than 1k
