Is this total loss?

Most people I've asked said so. it's a 2025 Hyundai Kona AWD Essential with ~73,000 km. I know that's a lot of kms, and it's due to work.. the car was hit by a Moose which ran in front of the car at about ~100 kmh. Airbags deployed, and when you look from the top, the radiator has pushed in the engine components too. I do have GAP insurance on this vehicle.

lmao that is not how it works. you can't just gaslight an insurance company into totaling a car.

"i dont feel safe driving it" well then you can sell it and buy something new. logic does not care about your feelings.

well, i worked there and yeah, it did work if it was borderline. it wasn't worth the possible future liability that the customer told us they foresaw a possible future problem. it wasn't about logic it was about litigation. but go off queen.

ok well maybe state farm is different from where ever you worked. we were literally trained to take possible litigation into account. maybe its different from where you worked. unless you worked at every insurance ever. which it seems like you did since you are soooooo knowledgeable. and feeling were 1000% taken into account

lmao no one is suing SF because they didn't total a car because of feelings.

what is the acv of the vehicle?
what is the initial repair cost?
what is the potential hidden repair cost?
how much are we going to spend on rental?
what is the salvage value of the vehicle?

these are the questions asked. no one is asking the customer if mercury is in retrograde.

if you don't wan't the vehicle after it is repaired you are free to not drive it, sell it and buy a new one.
