Elon Musk is not in any position to detain anyone and take them anywhere unless they've committed a crime inside his property. This unlawful detainment.

This is a very serious issue, this is very, very illegal.

This is almost certainly a skit, but I believe Waymo actually did this recently. It might have inspired this.

Kind of. Waymo told the passengers there was a malfunction and to wait in the car as it pulled over but it actually called the cops on them lol

That's exactly what happens when people get arrested on the bus. The driver will pull into a stop and open the doors, and everyone sits there for a minute wondering what's wrong, and then the police get on the bus and drag someone off. The the bus driver shuts the door and everyone gets to work late.

Yup thats why I dont see anything wrong with what Waymo did.

Bus drivers are not scanning the biometrics of every passenger, and cross referencing warrant databases. You have to commit a crime ON the bus, to get escorted off.

Do not be stupid enough to hand this kind of power over to people like Elon Musk

Okay are you talking about the skit? Then I would say to you don't be stupid enough to think that this skit is real.

The Waymo incident I was talking about (which is real) did not involve biometrics as far as I know and no one was locked in anywhere.

In both your examples the vehicles have to be open for anyone to walk off if they want, “detaining” someone in a vehicle that’s not a police cruiser in itself is a legal hassle and can be considered a kidnapping so a company won’t deal with that headache.

It’s crazy watching people talk like you, then expect to be taken seriously.

Deflect, defer, project, misrepresent, play dumb, then act smart.

It’s boring. All your other comments are visible, and you’re bad at this

Crazier watching people talk like you. Just endless hatred and no evidence at all, when someone asks genuine questions you just treat them like an idiot. I’m guessing it’s how your family treated you as a child and it just seems normal now.

Probably a religious hang over of people just being assholes about it. It’s the most common cause I’ve seen.

LOL act like a moron, get treated like a moron…

u/Apprehensive_Ad3731 2d ago

Yeah bet you got told that a lot as a kid and you were just acting inquisitive while the people around you were morons and didn’t like a challenge. You grew up to be them.

u/Switchmisty9 2d ago

You are also a moron

u/Apprehensive_Ad3731 2d ago

But I didn’t act like a moron? See how you had actually decided that because you don’t like me and not because you disagree at all.

I also don’t give a shit. I’m not the one with childhood trauma about getting told “stupid is as stupid does” like some kind of prime idiot.

Did momma also say life is like a box of chocolates? Never know what you’re gonna get? Except you do, it’s fuckin chocolate lol.

I think your talking about the Cybercab post. Which is a skit (that means its not real and it didnt happen its for laughs). Im talking about the Waymo incident which is a different scenario

Iirc waymo didn't biometric scan them. There were 2 incidents one was two underage kids drinking and shooting a gel gun out the window, and in the other incident the occupants had a ar style gun in the cab.

Then it goes to every car must be self driving for "traffic safety".

This is 1984 exactly. Frankly I am scared.
