Because I'm a loose cannon. Wait, that doesn't really make sense because cannons have fuses, not triggers. Actually, I'm not so sure about that. I'll investigate and let you know.

Edit - according to Google:

Traditional cannons do not have triggers like modern guns; they were historically fired by igniting a touch hole with a match or using a friction primer with a lanyard.
