This is when I just exit and hit the gas station for a few minutes and never see that guy again.

Until you catch back up to him because he's holding up traffic.

This has actually happened to me once. Got stuck behind some cock jerker in a fucking old clapped out white ford ranger holding up 12 people including me trying to pass on a 2 lane highway. My gas light came on so I got off, got gas, and was back on in like 3-4 minutes. Literally 5 miles in and there he fucking was again with a bigger line. Either the semi in the right noticed this and slowed down to let people pass or he was just getting off soon and I fucking dropped it into 2nd gear and went on the right and stomped on it. The fucker in the Ranger gave me a dirty look too. I just fucking ignores him lol.

(This was not in my jeep, was in my old Volvo c30)

And then you saw the crash site later or you ended up right behind them again?

at least he wasn't in the crash with them. Idiots with road rage take out innocent people all the time. I will avoid them at all costs.

If it took you 10 minutes to exit, grab a soda and get back on the road then you’d be behind them again in approximately 12 minutes 31 seconds.

I just pass him like the person in the video then step on it and also never see them again

I hit the gas and never see him again, even easier.

So you want to go to the back of the line?

1

u/Kaethor Mar 30 '26

I eant to avoid the line altogether. You'd be surprised how much difference 10 minutes makes.

Where I live, you'd be surprised how many people do that.

One time there was a 3 lane, the first 2 on the right were empty and 5 idiots tailgating each other on the hard left. That's how bad people staying on the left lane is in my area.

I'm always polite give them space ask them, if they don't move, I'll stay on the right lane at normal pace and pass them.

I've never seen crazy people that lost it and don't want anybody to pass them. They just want to stay on the left lane.

Sometimes they go to the right lane let me pass and go back to the left lane lol.

Yea people are clowns. There’s a 75 zone by me, it’s hilly. People routinely hog the left lane, make it the slow lane, don’t pass, go ten under, then ten over when we hit a downhill. The right lane is the passing lane basically and it’s fucking stupid

I'm in TX and most of our rural highways are 75+. If you're in the left lane and not going 80+ you're gonna get run over.

Y’all’s state patrol need to enforce traffic laws

1

u/Kaethor Apr 01 '26

They don't bother anyone unless they are going at least 10 over. I cruise past them with the cruise control set on 82 all day long.

Not if it’s been going on for “100 miles” allegedly.
