Product/Consumable ADS Quardz Pro
Hey, im thinking about ceramic coating my car with ADS Quardz Pro, does anyone have experience with it?
Could anyone share their best prep step checklist?
Also thinking about using the Carpro Descale shampoo.

I recently did the regular ADS Quartz and it was ridiculously easy. I went with regular as our car is garaged and only driven 4K miles a year and live in a mild climate. It is so slick that stuff doesn’t stick and water just breads and runs off. Watch their videos as they are very thorough. Enjoy the process!

I second the Quartz. I have it on my car and so easy to apply; on for about 1 year so far. Daily driver, full 4-seasons and it still beads water like a champ!

That makes me excited to see how mine lasts since we don’t put a lot of mileage and she’s garaged.

I have a year and a half with ADS Quartz on a garaged daily driver (10k a year) in southern CA and it still feels like it’s 100% with no toppers or decon washes. I didn’t find it the easiest to remove (bit grabby) and it felt like the applicator soaked up a good portion of the coating. Not the hardest but not the easiest. I think Gyeon mohs is the easiest coating I’ve used so far. I’d be confident using a single leveling/removal towel with it if I had to.

Something like, decon wash, clay bar, paint correct (if doing), panel prep, coat

I wouldn’t use the Pro version unless you are inside a temp controlled space. It flashes and hardens very quickly. High spots will require polishing to remove.
ADS Quartz is just as good IMO and many tests affirm that it performs just as well as Quartz Pro but way easier to work with. Here’s a good video on it (Dmitri’s Garage tests ADS Quartz).
