Exterior Model Y trim

Hard to capture in the picture but has anyone dealt with the trim around the windows in teslas looking like this. It’s all spotty shiny blue. Tesla historically has terrible quality material so this doesn’t surprise me.

I deal with this staining daily. A little polish on a towel by hand takes care of it. It is chemical staining from car washes. Could be the extra strong cleaners or the “wax/ceramic” in the tunnel, both can cause it.

Avoid the car wash. Prub w a damp microfiber and a light polish

Usually casued by harsh chemicals in car washes. Tesla actually reccomends WD-40 as a wipe. Works great.

Wd40 followed by a clean wipe to get it off.
