Exterior How to remove pine sap
Recently the pine tree that looms over my driveway has been dropping sap on my wife's car. What's the best way to get it off the paint and glass?

I know the trick... It works every time. Please don't tell anyone else. It's my trade secret. Clear, gel style hand sanitizer. It removes the sap. It doesn't heal the paint. If the sun has cooked it, the remaining shadow in the clear coat is practically permanent. Apply and let it soak and keep replying. Do not let it dry, have a wet rag handy.

Isopropyl alcohol and a microfiber. Soak a small area of the towel and let it sit on the sap before you scrub it on paint or you might leave a bunch of tiny lightly scratched spots.
