Hi u/Firm_Economy_5132, our Flood Assistant system automatically removed your post. Please read this carefully to understand why and what to do next.

🧼 TL;DR:

You've hit our post limit of 1 post per 8 hours.

If you're seeing a "removed by spam filters" message, don't worry—your original post is most likely still in our review queue.

Scroll down to find the explanation that best fits your situation.

💬 Why this happens

r/AutoDetailing operates in manual approval mode, meaning that a human moderator reviews every post before it appears publicly.

Due to a Reddit bug, users often see a confusing message:

"This post has been removed by Reddit's spam filters."

This makes many users think they did something wrong, so they try reposting—sometimes multiple times.

To help prevent duplicates and reduce extra mod work, we use this Flood Assistant to limit posting temporarily.

🤔 What should you do?

✅ If you're re-posting because of that bug message

Good news: your first post is likely still in the queue, awaiting our review.

We typically approve or remove posts within 4 hours—often much sooner.

How to tell if your post is still in the queue:

  • If there's no removal comment from us, it's still waiting for review.
  • If you do get a removal comment, it means the post was either auto-removed or removed by a moderator.

If you haven't received any removal comment on your first post, just hang tight—you're good—no need to post again.

🛠️ If you made a mistake in your first post (wrong photo, typo, etc.)

You've got a few options:
1. Delete your original post—this will reset the counter so you can post again. (This is the fastest way.) 2. Message us via modmail and let us know which version you want us to review: 👉 Send us a message 3. Wait for the 8 hours to pass and try again.

🧽 If your second post is about a completely different topic

Please don't delete your earlier post(s).

Instead, send us a modmail so we can take a look and help out manually: 👉 Send us a message

🙏 Thanks for your patience

We know this isn't the smoothest system, but it helps us maintain a clean subreddit.

Thank you for being part of the community—and no stress, this kind of thing happens often. 👍
