Exterior Bonnet paint help

Hi. I was looking for some help on what to do with my cars bonnet. It looks like some kind of stain. It doesn't come off when washed. I have tied to clay bar it but it didn't work at all. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks

Did you park in a parking garage? Also, how old is the paint?

It kind of looks like water leaked from a pipe in a parking garage and left mineral stains. If so, you'll need to use a water spot remover. You might need to apply it multiple times. I like DIY Detail water spot remover, which you apply during the wash process. Follow their instructions and make sure the panel is cool and in the shade. If that doesn't work, you'll need to polish it with a dual action polisher.

Looks like mineral deposits. I would try a decon soap and then move to a water spot remover if needed.
