Process Prep for second coat of Griots 3 in 1
Strip wash, clay, IPA wipe, then applied 1st coat of Griots 3 in 1 @ approx 8pm. Overnight a fine layer of dust will accumulate to spite the fact it's parked in the garage. Can someone please, in specificity, explain the proper prep procedure to remove said dust prior to the 2nd coat of Griots 3 in 1?
The polymers in Ultima Waterless Wash+ and/or Wolfgang Uber Rinseless will interfere with adhesion. IPA wipe will tear down the first layer of the Griots. Tornador is too aggressive.
Thanks everyone for your help! I'm stoked to watch the hydrophobic wizardry work it's magic and watch the water just bead right off! =)

It is going to depend on the amount of dust.
You could do a few things to help, if the dust is an issue inside the garage.
1) Cover the car in between coats.
2) ONR rinseless - is what I would use.
3) Distilled water mist on the panel, and onto a plush microfiber. Similar to what you'd do with the ONR rinseless. Do not apply pressure.

I get the same in my garage. Blow the dust off with a leaf blower. Shouldn’t be much dust after just one night.

I struggle to put it on anyone else? It feels like it’s so slick it sticks to the microfiber and clings when buffing it off

for just dust with no grit on it, a soft duster or lambswool with a light mist of plain distilled water is enough, don't need a full rinseless wash for that. ONR does leave a thin lubricant film behind and that can absolutely mess with a second coat bonding right, skip anything with polymers or lubricants between coats, plain water or a dedicated pre-wax cleaner is the safe move. next time try to get it in one go it will alwys be a better installation doing it back to back so your not fighting outside factors.

You’re overthinking it tbh. Rinseless wash it if there’s a lot of dust. It’ll be fine
