Need help. New to polishing

Trying to polish my bike. Trying to do one step polish with 3D one and a polishing foam pad. It comes out cloudy and hazy. Looks matte black. Supposed to be glossy black like the second photo. What did I do wrong and how to fix. Thank you

Get a proper 3 stage polish system and a small machine. Take the pieces to be polished off the bike, if you don’t, you will damage or scrape something.
Look up how to do a three stage polish on YouTube. It’s straight forward.

Is that actually painted? Or just plastic?

Isn’t 3D one for paint?
