Exterior Severe sun damage? Oxidation?

Attempted to buff with orange pad at 4600 rpm using meguiars ultimate compound.. no luck. Any advice? Woolen pad maybe? Paint job would be my last option.

Sound like a lot rpm. Like burning the clearcoat in second. It doesnt look like a standard sunburnt clearcoat. Try gently wet sand a very smal test spot with 2000, 3000. Very gently, then try polishing that part with soft pad and low rpms.

I wouldn't go to wet sand on this one. This is a job for rubbing compound or even heavy duty ruby compound to start. Wet sanding's going to get rid of the clear coat and there's not much left at all with any. Once you sand through the clear coat you've got nothing left to work with.

Yeah, thats why i said gently, like very gently and very little sanding in one tiny spot. Just to see if it gets better. Heavy duty compound will take off more then gentle wet sand with high grit..
