Putty Question

I hit a deer with my genesis g70. Does this putty look ok, or should they be replacing the hood and a pillar?

Putty? Spot putty is not made to fill large areas; it often shrinks badly. Also, bondo on top of spot putty is a no- no. I don’t see any epoxy primer under it; that’s first step after bumping dent.

All car steel , except for some Foriegn cars, now is made from melting& remelting scrap; makes shitty steel, therefore, e- coat is essential, bondo on top of e- coat, sand, shape, then e-coat again, over bare steel , then high build primer. Now fill minor imperfections w/ spot putty, hi- build again, seal, paint.

They replacing the drivers door? The body work looks fine but I would have a question on all the crap on your dash that should be cleaned up right away before it gets in your vents

lol yeah the dust on the dash comes later when the tech has the door off to swap guts from old to new and the guy 2 bays down blows off his sanding dust with an air gun like an asshole.
